Will is a planner! So much so that Grace Ann didn't think he would be able to surprise her with anything, even proposing. To her surprise though Will proposed on January 27, 2024 at Grace Ann's family farm in Southeast Arkansas.

Grace Ann's family already had plans to spend the weekend there and everyone arrived Friday - nothing out of the ordinary for that time of year. While Will and their families had been planning for weeks, the one thing Will couldn't have prepared for was the weather. It started raining Friday evening and did not stop until Saturday afternoon. The rain added some stress to Will's day, but it didn't bother Grace Ann at all since it was a good excuse for a "lazy day". Saturday morning goes by and Will is starting to get stir crazy. He kept talking about wanting to get out of the house - nothing too suspicious as Grace Ann knows Will rarely sits still for very long. He eventually convinces Grace Ann to go on a walk where he finally popped the question!

Will and Grace Ann celebrated that evening with family and a few close friends. It was a perfect day!
